How long have you been in business?
Serving the working musician and music community in Arizona since 1927.
What is your primary product or service?
Musical Instrument Dealer. We service what we sell. All repairs get a free estimate, no bench fee for checking your gear.Audio equipment repairs, if an audio signal goes thru it our audio tech can usually repair it. Our Luthier repairs all stringed instruments. And Accordion repairs, tuning and service on all styles of accordions. We have a full staff of teachers to accelerate a new musicians mastery of his/her chosen Instrument.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Ziggie was the founding Musician, Business man, that started Ziggie's Music. I was playing Accordion at the age of 8. I was one of Ziggie's several grandchildren. I spent all of my free time growing up at the shop. I was enthralled with the music, the people and the workings of a music storeI love then what I do now.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
1st Saturday each month we host a Musician's Swap meet. This Vintage Guitar Swap meet has expanded into a monthly gathering of working musicians who get to buy sell and trade their equipment with on another. They use this time to network with each other on gigs and job opportunities in their fields of music genres.Of course mini jam sessions often ensue.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Same Physical location since 1956. Our expansion has been digital. Social Media and on line store front.
What type of payments do you accept?
Cash, Debit Cards, All Major Credit cards, PayPal and Square.
Which areas do you service?
Central Phoenix.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
10 Am - 6 PM Monday - Saturday.
