The Arizona Animal Welfare League and SPCA (AAWL / SPCA) shelter facilities provide a temporary home for more than 2,000 dogs and cats every year, offering medical and behavioral treatment for those in need. Founded in 1971, the AAWL / SPCA is a full service animal welfare agency providing innovative behavior training, medical care, adoption, education, and community outreach programs designed to enhance the bond between people and animals.
